Summer 2012

So I am blessed that I have summers off. However, I do still keep my retail job just to help pull in money for me and Lilly to play with. Plus, the discounts are awesome when your looking to refurnish your house. This week was the start to Lilly and Me's first summer break together. I thought I would keep note of all the fun things we do during the week, crafts, recipes and such.

Monday was a lazy day for us. She is obssessed with this umbrella so we played and watched movies until Gaugie got here then I had to go to work for a bit.
thanks aunt Kay Kay

Tuesday we went searching for the "Brave" doll and ended up at the Disney Store leaving with not one but TWO princesses, gaw I am weak!

Wednesday was movie day. The movies are only 5$ during the day and Lilly gets in free. So when we had to leave after an hour into it because someone was cranky I didn't feel bad. Shes almost ready for the theaters. We went to Chick-fi-la first, yummy!

During nap time I decided to finish up on some crafts and this is what I ended up with

This was Dans but I didnt like the black so I made it for Lillys room.

Coasters! I thought this would be a good way for me to decide on color choices for the new house (when we find one)
Black and white is for the office, there will be blue accents
The green is for our room which won't change much
and the one with writing is for the living room

Thursday was pool day but our pool wasn't open so we made do with her little pink one.
P.S ran out of swimmies so we just went with the diaper/naked baby look

All week we've been practicing using the potty here's her incentive!
So far so good!

Lilly loves the jungle Jim and playing with chalk. Unfortunately its been to hot to stay outside to be out there for to long!

This week we are half way until school starts back boooo......

We started the week with a trip the  doctors. Lilly has eczema and the heat can really bring it out so we went for a check up just to see if we needed any more meds.

And of course that deserves a Happy meal!

Monkey Joes Wednesdays was the best time Lilly went up to the top all by herself and Easton slide down all by himself. We also met our friend Kerry and Madden their too.
It was such a nice night last Friday we decided to cook out and let Lilly stay up a little later.

We went to a new park on Monday, it was a long walk because I got a little lost.

We had a donut date with Easton at the New Krispy Kreme. Delish!!

This week Lilly ate a PBJ with out me having to cut it up sooooo cute.
Then we painting

We went for a long walk on Tuesday it was so hot but Lilly didn't seem to mind
We have finally gotten to that point
Its about to get serious

Fathers day/ weekend round up

For Fathers Lilly and I made Daddy and grand dads these cupcakes!
Lilly and I also finally got around to doing this DAD pictures and or canvas paintings. There not finished yet, I m not sure where we will be in the next few months so I am waiting on the Ribbon part for hanging.

My dad is a big golfer and has decided to put a putting green in his front yard for Lilly.
So we got him and flag for his putting green.

Ended the weekend with a cake pop!

Rollison Beach Trip

So every year my family goes to the beach for a week.(Daniels does too at the end of the summer) I thought it would be interested to take a look back at the first two years of this tradition that we have started.

First year started off in Hilton Head I was about 5 or 6 months preggers and really wanted a beer!!

 Passing the time

This was one of my favorite parts of the trip Harbor Town!
We took a boot out and got to enjoy a fabulous meal as we watched the sun set!!

The 2nd year we went to Folley Beach with our Lilly Mae, she was about 8 months and trying to crawl!

It was May the water was a little cold but she didn't care.
 Her Great Grand!
Golf with Pa Pa Rock enough said.

This trip was a learning experiencing for us, Lilly ended up getting a double ear infection and we left early Sunday morning because she had a 104 fever. This was the first time she really was sick and it just so happened to be at the beach. She has so much I can't wait to see her at the beach.

This year were headed back to Hilton leaving Saturday and can not wait!!

Lilly got to see her cousins this trip and boy did they have fun together!!!
One of our last days here we ate at Crabby Mikes on the water. Such a pretty scenery
My Aunt and Uncle also joined us

Lilly loved playing in this water fountain. She could of done this for the whole week.

Shes defiantly a pool baby. She likes the beach but not sure about the sand yet

Reid and Casey

Relaxing with boiled peanuts, beers and CT's famous Limeade yum!!

The best part was getting to spend some well needed quality time with the family.
Lilly is starting to become familiar with every ones name and the car the drive.

Game Time
